We are proud to highlight the contributions of Dr. Maria Chatzidaki, our Science Communication Officer, who participated in the ‘She STEMs’ symposium organized by the Greek Women in STEM last September 14-15, 2024, in Thessaloniki, Greece. This event provided an invaluable opportunity to foster dialogue, share insights, and promote initiatives that empower women in the fields of science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics (STEAM).
The Greek Women in STEM organization plays a crucial role in promoting gender equality and empowering women in the scientific and technological sectors in Greece. Founded with the mission to inspire and support women at all stages of their careers, the organization focuses on fostering a vibrant community of women who are passionate about STEAM. Their initiatives include mentorship programs, workshops, and networking events designed to connect aspiring scientists and professionals with established leaders in the field.
Boost4Bio would like to congratulate Maria for her presentation entitled “Science as a Bridge: From Communication to Inclusion.” In her talk, she explored how effective science communication can serve as a powerful tool for fostering inclusion and addressing inequalities across various domains. We also extend our congratulations to the Greek Women in STEM for their initiative and the successful organization of this event.
Boost4Bio firmly supports and promotes actions for diversity, inclusion, and gender equality. By encouraging dialogue and collaboration, we hope to inspire the next generation of leaders and innovators who will continue to break down barriers and create a more equal future for everyone.
