Boost4Bio is proud to announce that Prof. Pavlos Vlachos, a distinguished member of our scientific advisory board, has been elected as a Fellow of the American Physical Society (APS). This prestigious honor is one of the highest recognitions in the field of physics and is awarded annually to no more than one-half of one percent of the Society’s members.
Prof. Vlachos is the St. Vincent Health Professor of Healthcare Engineering and the Director of the Regenstrief Center for Healthcare Engineering at Purdue University. His election to APS Fellowship is a testament to his groundbreaking contributions to the field of physics and its applications to healthcare.
The APS Fellowship is awarded to individuals who have made exceptional contributions to the advancement of physics, whether through original research, innovative applications, teaching, or leadership within the APS community. Prof. Vlachos was nominated “for developing advanced tools for non-invasive flow diagnostics and uncertainty quantification, and for translating these innovations into biomedical and clinical applications, particularly in the diagnosis and management of cardiovascular disease and drug delivery.”
Boost4Bio would like to congratulate Prof. Vlachos on this remarkable and well-deserved achievement.
